At The ISIS Bursaries, we believe that safeguarding our planet requires dedicated minds, passionate hearts, and the right resources.
The Roots and Wings Scholarships supports our aim to invest in students who are dedicating their education to the protection and welfare of the Earth across waters.
We provide fully funded study-abroad scholarships to exceptional students from countries around the earth as well as UK students that are in the UK as a result of a Diaspora. Our unique model requires all recipients to return to their home countries upon graduation utilising not only their education, but also their experiences whilst in foreign land to enable them to protect, nurture or reform homeland systems in three areas: Economics, Ecology, Politics and Healthcare.

βοΈ How We Operate (The Strategy)
To ensure maximum accountability and impact we follow a strict framework:
Frontline Selection: We actively recruit students from countries around the globe particular those with economical, ecological and political potential.
Vetting Committee: Applications are reviewed by an independent board of environmental scientists, educators, and community leaders from around the world.
The Mentorship Circle: While studying abroad, scholars are able to communicate with established environmental professionals for career guidance and networking opportunities throughout their study period.
Direct-to-Institution Funding: To ensure financial integrity, all tuition fees and course costs are paid directly to the university or training institution on behalf of the student.
π€ How Supporters Can InvolvedKnowledge Partners: Educational institutions can partner with us to offer discounted tuition rates, allowing our donor funds to stretch further and help more students.
